Olive- Dill Rice

This is a rich and filling side dish. Give it a try!!

Recipe:

1 cup brown rice
1 1/2 cup brewed green tea or water
1/3 cup black olives – minced
1/2 Tbsp garlic – minced
1 tsp dill weed

In a medium sauce pan, over medium heat, bring the tea to a boil and add the rice. Allow to boil for about 5 minutes while stirring. After the 5 minutes, add garlic, reduce heat to low and cover. Allow to cook for 35-40 minutes or until all liquid is absorbed. Before serving, add the olives and dill. Stir well. Garnish with a sprinkle of dill and sliced garlic if desired.
