Homemade flax bread

I don’t know about you all, but this girl LOVES homemade bread!! See what you think of this recipe 🙂 I use my bread machine to mix the dough, but you certainly can do it by hand.

Add to the bread machine in this order:

1 1/4 cup warm brewed green tea or water
1 Tbsp olive oil
2 tsp organic sugar (of your choice)
1 tsp sea salt
3 1/2 cups unbleached flour
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
2 tsp quickrise yeast

Set machine to dough and start. Once finished, turn out onto floured surface and cut in half. Knead each half about 5-8 times and shape into 2 loaves. You can roll the top in oats, nuts, seeds (hempseeds, sunflower, etc) if you want. Place in non stick sprayed loaf pans and allow to rise again (approx 45 min). Bake at 350 for approx 20-25 minutes. Bread is done when thumped it sounds hollow and when bread pulls away from pan sides.
